Meditation Is Fundamental to Our Health

Meditation is not something that we do to calm ourselves down. Nope, meditation is something we do to keep ourselves healthy.

A daily meditation practice is as important and fundamental as brushing your teeth.

It is my mission to make “meditation” available in every school in America. All it takes is some good will and openness from the educators and parents.

I teach MEDITATION as an energizer, not as a sedative.

Of course, being calm is a byproduct of the activity, but it is certainly NOT the goal.

If you'd ask:

Hey Kids, would you like to be calm?

The answer would be:  Nooooo!!!

Now, if instead you'd ask them:

  • Would you like to Ace that test with minimal effort?
  • Would you like to become the popular kid in school?
  • Would you like to be the MVP of your soccer team?

I bet the answer will be a redundant YES!

That's what I offer. The chance to excel at whatever task or life situation you are presented with. 

Why MEDITATION?

Because it is only through meditation that you can find your essence and your power. 

The magic that you have inside can only be accessed by quieting the body, and slowing the brain waives.
Your super powers come out to play when you learn to meditate. 

Meditation is your best ally. Your best friend. It is the only thing that can give you true comfort, security and self-acceptance.

Meditation is a great alternative to medications and an amazing supplement to psychotherapy.

During my group classes we tackle present issues and we focus on specific areas that need attention. My meditation are guided meditations and their goal is to help the child find their coping tools organically.

The children develop a relationship with themselves, and they strengthen this bond through a weekly and daily practice.

What to do? How to start?

Morning Routine

It is very easy, really. Just like brushing our teeth, meditation is about consistency.

Start by curving up some time in the morning. Yes, I know what you will say. There is NO time, we are always rushing to school. Well, if you have time to brush your teeth, you have time to meditate. So, do it.

It starts by understanding that your mental well being depends on it. So, allocate 5 minutes a day to sitting in silence and breathe deeply. That's it. Something as simple as that is SOOOO powerful!

Just like brushing our teeth, or going to the gym, it is all about consistency. Only 5 short minutes a day can make a world of difference in the quality of your life.

Evening Routine

The second thing, you can definitely do, is to practice meditation before you go to sleep.

Make this activity part of your night routine. Put on your PJ, brush your teeth, and mediate. You can even play a bedtime meditation when you are already in bed. This will help you fall asleep easier, and faster, and it will also send you off to sleep with positive affirmations.

Students will have the opportunity to become a role model for other children, if they choose to participate in my Youtube channel. 

Some ways to participate:

√ give advice and tips,
√ or share your experience.

I will guide you every step of the way. It's a fun and rewarding experience.
