Get Set for Success
Let’s all start the day with the right foot by developing a super fun and easy meditation practice that we can all do daily, as soon as we get up.
It is important for children to learn strategies for developing a positive perception of life from a young age. When children learn to think positively early on, they will live a happier and healthier life. Your job as a parent will be easier and this will impact all of your lives in many ways.
Children that think positively will be more likely to have higher performance at school, better peer relationships, and the ability to handle stressful situations more easily. All of these positive factors can be manifested and are a result of thoughts that focus on success, happiness, and reaching personal goals.
Every cell of our body is affected by every thought we have. Negative thoughts affect our body negatively. Positive thoughts affect our body in a positive way, making us more relax, centered, and alert. Positive thoughts cause the secretion of endorphins in the brain and reduce pain and increase happiness.
What I am trying to say is that having a positive outlook on life is more imperative than we think. A lot of young people are affected by depression and anxiety. We can help them shift their attention to something pleasant and positive by encouraging a daily practice of self love and self care. This super short meditation sets the tone for the rest of the day. We start the day by repeating a pleasant and uplifting word or a phrase several times for 4 minutes. By doing this we plant the seed in our subconscious and we set ourselves up for success.
